West Ham United look interested in doing some business on deadline day, but their bid to take Kevin Mirallas on loan from Everton has been rejected.
Pressure is already mounting on Slaven Bilic following a horrible start to the new season, which sees his side propping up the Premier League table after three defeats in the opening three fixtures.
The Croatian coach has allowed Robert Snodgrass to leave the club for Aston Villa in a loan deal, and he had hoped to replace the Scotland international by bringing in Mirallas.
The Belgian is struggling to force his way into the Everton side this season, and was left out of the squad for the trip to Chelsea last weekend after being accused of having a bad attitude.
“Mirallas is struggling to deal with moments in the season and with disappointments,” said Toffees boss Ronald Koeman. “Everybody can be disappointed but I expect from everybody to be part of the team and if somebody is showing that his attitude is not the same, I make decisions.”
However, the Goodison Park club have rejected the Hammers offer to take Mirallas on loan for the remainder of the season, a decision which is sure to add to the frustrations of Bilic.
