David Brooks has committed his future to Sheffield United, after penning a new contract designed to keep him at the club until the summer of 2021.
The 20-year-old has started the season in eye-catching form for the Blades, which resulted in him earning a first full international cap for Wales earlier this month.
Brooks has been linked with a string of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool, but the midfielder will continue his development at Bramall Lane.
“I’m delighted that David has yet again extended his contract – he’s been rewarded for an excellent start to the season,” said United boss Chris Wilder.
“David sees his future at Sheffield United and that’s what we want to hear because, without doubt, he is one of the hottest properties outside the top flight.”
